In Thursday's league contest, the visiting Pope John Paul II basketball team scored a big 65-23 win over the Norristown Eagles.
The (13-5) will now prepare for their contest against Delaware County Christian (Newtown Square, PA). The Knights come into the non-league contest with a 13-1 record. In their last contest, Delaware County Christian smashed Philadelphia Montgomery Christian Academy (Erdenheim, PA), 86-58, in a league contest.
In their next game, the Eagles battle the Perkiomen Valley Vikings (Collegeville, PA) in a Pioneer - Liberty contest, on Tuesday, January 28. Norristown will attempt to better on its 3-15 season record.
