In Thursday's non-league contest, the visiting Scotch Plains-Fanwood Raiders basketball team scored a close 56-50 win over the Rahway Indians.

The Raiders (7-3) will now prepare for their contest against East Side (Newark, NJ). The Red Raiders come into the non-league contest with a 5-4 record. In their last contest, East Side was tipped by Columbia (Maplewood, NJ), 53-48, in a league contest.

In their next game, the Indians battle the Plainfield Cardinals (Plainfield, NJ) in a Union County contest, on Saturday, January 25. Rahway will attempt to better on its 4-4 season record. The Cardinals come into the contest with a 13-1 record after their 71-35 non-league win over Franklin (Somerset, NJ).
