The Shakopee Sabers (Shakopee, MN) basketball crushed the visiting Rosemount Irish (Rosemount, MN), 82-50 in Thursday's non-league bout.
The Sabers now possess a 9-6 record. They play next when they travel to Chanhassen for a AAAA Section 2 bout on Saturday, January 25. Shakopee will play a Storm team coming off a 70-67 non-league win over Jefferson (Bloomington, MN). The Storm record now stands at 6-8.
With the loss, Rosemount falls to 5-10 on the year. The Irish host Farmington (Farmington, MN) to clash with the Tigers in a non-league outing on Tuesday, January 28. The Tigers enter the outing with a record of 7-8.
