The crowd at Thursday's non-league challenge between the Snake River Panthers (Blackfoot, ID) and the visiting South Fremont Cougars (St. Anthony, ID), observed Snake River's basketball team overwhelm South Fremont by a score of 63-40.
The Panthers (13-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Sugar-Salem (Sugar City, ID). The Diggers come into the non-league challenge with a 11-3 record. In their last challenge, Sugar-Salem trounced Marsh Valley (Arimo, ID), 53-47, in a non-league challenge.
In their next game, the Cougars encounter the North Fremont Huskies (Ashton, ID) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, January 30. South Fremont will attempt to improve on its 6-10 season record.
