The Clay County Tigers basketball team scored 63 points and limited the visiting Breathitt County Bobcats to 62 in the Tigers non-league triumph on Thursday.

The Tigers now possess a 1-1 record. They play next when they host Corbin for a non-league game on Saturday, January 25. Clay County will confront a Redhounds team coming off a 57-46 non-league loss to Bell County (Pineville, KY). The Redhounds record now stands at 0-1.

With the loss, Breathitt County falls to 0-1 on the campaign.
