Arizona High School Basketball - Alhambra overwhelmed by McClintock

In Thursday's league test, the McClintock Chargers (Tempe, AZ) basketball team walloped the visiting Alhambra Lions (Phoenix, AZ), by a tally of 82-18.

The Chargers now possess a 13-6 record. They play next when they travel to Carl Hayden Community for a 5A Metro game on Monday, January 27. McClintock will confront a Falcons team coming off a 44-37 league win over Metro Tech (Phoenix, AZ). The Falcons record now stands at 5-10.

With the loss, Alhambra falls to 3-14 on the campaign. The Lions host Fairfax (Laveen, AZ) to confront the Stampede in a 5A Metro game on Monday, January 27. The Stampede go into the game with a record of 9-8. Fairfax won 60-29 in their recent non-league game against Youngker (Buckeye, AZ)
