The Asotin Panthers basketball squad (Asotin, WA), was crushed 65-15 in Thursday's league battle with the host Liberty Lancers (Spangle, WA)
With the victory, Liberty advances its record to 11-5 on the year. The Lancers travel to Freeman (Rockford, WA) to meet the Scotties in a 2B Bi-County battle on Friday, January 24. The Scotties enter the battle with a record of 12-3. Freeman won 46-43 in their recent league battle against Colfax (Colfax, WA)
The Panthers now own a 4-11 record. They put it on the line next when they host Lind-Ritzville/Sprague/Washtucna for a 2B Bi-County battle on Saturday, January 25. Asotin will meet a Broncos squad coming off a 60-24 league win over Upper Columbia Academy (Spangle, WA). The Broncos record now stands at 10-5.
