The Augusta Panthers basketball team scored 66 points and limited the visiting Robertson County Black Devils to 41 in the Panthers non-league triumph on Thursday.

The Panthers now possess a 5-10 record. They play next when they travel to Bracken County for a District 39 game on Saturday, January 25. Augusta will confront a Polar Bears team coming off a 61-55 league loss to Mason County (Maysville, KY). The Polar Bears record now stands at 6-6.

With the loss, Robertson County falls to 3-7 on the campaign. The Black devils host Nicholas County (Carlisle, KY) to confront the Bluejackets in a District 38 game on Friday, January 24. The Bluejackets go into the game with a record of 10-5. Nicholas County won 66-61 in their recent league game against Pendleton County (Falmouth, KY)
