The Teaneck Highwaymen basketball team scored 67 points and limited the visiting Bergenfield Bears to 23 in the Highwaymen league triumph on Thursday.

The Highwaymen now have a 9-4 record. They play next when they travel to St. Thomas Aquinas for a non-league game on Sunday, January 26. Teaneck will confront a Trojans team coming off a 90-33 league win over Monroe Township (Monroe Township, NJ). The Trojans record now stands at 12-3.

With the loss, Bergenfield falls to 4-4 on the campaign. The Bears travel to Mary Help of Christians Academy (North Haledon, NJ) to confront the Blue Jays in a non-league game on Friday, January 24. The Blue Jays go into the game with a record of 2-2. Mary Help of Christians Academy won 46-19 in their recent non-league game against Paterson Charter School for Science and Technology (Paterson, NJ)
