Pennsylvania High School Basketball - Derry trounced by Burrell

Burrell Bucs (Lower Burrell, PA) supporters left the game happy Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad triumph over the visiting Derry Trojans (Derry, PA), 50-18 in a league match.

With the victory, Burrell advances its record to 11-6 on the year. The Bucs travel to Plum (Pittsburgh, PA) to meet the Mustangs in a non-league match on Friday, January 24. The Mustangs enter the match with a record of 4-10. Plum lost 55-25 in their recent league match against Shaler Area (Pittsburgh, PA)

The Trojans now own a 3-9 record. They put it on the line next when they host Highlands for a WPIAL 4A 1 match on Monday, January 27. Derry will meet a Golden Rams squad coming off a 37-32 league loss to Knoch (Saxonburg, PA). The Golden Rams record now stands at 4-12.
