Virginia High School Basketball - Carlisle bests Virginia Episcopal School

The Carlisle Chiefs basketball team scored 61 points and limited the visiting Virginia Episcopal School Bishops to 50 in the Chiefs league triumph on Thursday.

The Chiefs now possess a 10-4 record. They play next when they travel to Miller School of Albemarle for a VISAA Blue Ridge game on Friday, January 31.

With the loss, Virginia Episcopal School falls to 10-6 on the campaign. The Bishops host New Covenant (Lynchburg, VA) to confront the Gryphons in a VISAA Blue Ridge game on Tuesday, January 28. The Gryphons go into the game with a record of 10-5. New Covenant lost 34-28 in their recent non-league game against North Cross (Roanoke, VA)
