The Desert Hills Thunder got by the visiting Cedar Reds basketball team by a tally of 63-60 in Thursday's league game.

The Thunder now possess a 9-7 record. They play next when they host Hurricane for a 4A Region 9 game on Tuesday, January 28. Desert Hills will play a Tigers team coming off a 56-45 league loss to Pine View (St. George, UT). The Tigers record now stands at 4-15.

With the loss, Cedar falls to 10-7 on the campaign. The Reds host Crimson Cliffs (Washington, UT) to play the Mustangs in a 4A Region 9 game on Tuesday, January 28. The Mustangs go into the bout with a record of 4-11. Crimson Cliffs lost 76-38 in their recent league bout against Snow Canyon (St. George, UT)
