The crowd at Thursday's non-league challenge between the LaFayette Ramblers (LaFayette, GA) and the host Chattanooga School for the Arts & Sciences Patriots (Chattanooga, TN), observed LaFayette's basketball team overwhelm Chattanooga School for the Arts & Sciences by a score of 84-17.
The Ramblers (14-6) will now prepare for their challenge against Gilmer (Ellijay, GA). The Bobcats come into the AAA Region 7 challenge with a 12-7 record. In their last challenge, Gilmer trounced Calhoun (Calhoun, GA), 59-55, in a league challenge.
In their next game, the Patriots encounter the Notre Dame Fighting Irish (Chattanooga, TN) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, January 24. Chattanooga School for the Arts & Sciences will attempt to improve on its 0-9 season record.
