In Thursday's non-league contest, the visiting Cobden Appleknockers basketball team scored a good 48-28 win over the Northside Baptist Christian Lions.
The Appleknockers (4-11) will now prepare for their contest against Joppa-Maple Grove (Joppa, IL). The Rangers come into the non-league contest with a 0-7 record.
In their next game, the Lions battle the Shawnee Redskins (Wolf Lake, IL) in a non-league contest, on Friday, January 24. Northside Baptist Christian will attempt to better on its 1-3 season record. The Redskins come into the contest with a 10-3 record after their 44-21 non-league win over Joppa-Maple Grove (Joppa, IL).
