In Thursday's league contest, the host Colbert Leopards basketball team scored a close 44-43 win over the Rock Creek Mustangs.

The Leopards (6-10) will now prepare for their contest against Calera (Calera, OK). The Bulldogs come into the Bryan County contest with a 13-1 record. In their last contest, Calera edged Oktaha (Oktaha, OK), 67-41, in a non-league contest.

In their next game, the Mustangs battle the Achille Golden Eagles (Achille, OK) in a Bryan County contest, on Saturday, January 25. Rock Creek will attempt to better on its 7-8 season record. The Golden Eagles come into the contest with a 12-3 record after their 41-28 league loss to Tushka (Atoka, OK).
