Illinois High School Basketball - St. Francis knocks off De La Salle

January 23, 2025: Wheaton, IL 60187

In Thursday's league contest, the host St. Francis Spartans basketball team scored a good 61-43 win over the De La Salle Meteors.

The Spartans (8-14) will now prepare for their contest against Glenbard South (Glen Ellyn, IL). The Raiders come into the non-league contest with a 21-2 record. In their last contest, Glenbard South defeated Fenton (Bensenville, IL), 64-19, in a league contest.

In their next game, the Meteors battle the Evergreen Park Mustangs (Evergreen Park, IL) in a non-league contest, on Saturday, January 25. De La Salle will attempt to better on its 8-14 season record. The Mustangs come into the contest with a 13-9 record after their 45-42 league loss to Oak Lawn (Oak Lawn, IL).
