Texas High School Basketball - Eisenhower trounced by Spring

Spring Lions (Spring, TX) supporters left the game happy Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad triumph over the host Eisenhower Eagles (Houston, TX), 51-30 in a league match.

With the victory, Spring advances its record to 15-16 on the year. The Lions travel to MacArthur (Houston, TX) to meet the Generals in a 6A Region II District 14 match on Saturday, January 25. The Generals enter the match with a record of 7-21. MacArthur won 55-33 in their recent non-league match against Aldine (Houston, TX)

The Eagles now own a 3-18 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Dekaney for a 6A Region II District 14 match on Saturday, January 25. Eisenhower will meet a Wildcats squad coming off a 50-38 league loss to Benjamin Davis (Houston, TX). The Wildcats record now stands at 5-16.
