Next, the Panthers encounter the St. Mary's Ryken Knights (Leonardtown, MD) in a Washington Catholic test, on Sunday, January 26. Paul VI will attempt to improve on its 14-5 season record. The Knights come into the test with a 14-5 record after their 64-55 league loss to Bishop O'Connell (Arlington, VA).

The (14-4) will now prepare for their test against The Academy of the Holy Cross (Kensington, MD). The Tartans come into the Washington Catholic test with a 7-10 record. In their last test, The Academy of the Holy Cross was knocked off by Our Lady of Good Counsel (Olney, MD), 66-59, in a league test.
