The crowd at Thursday's league challenge between the Neuse Christian Academy Lions (Raleigh, NC) and the host Friendship Christian Falcons (Raleigh, NC), observed Neuse Christian Academy's basketball team overcome Friendship Christian by a score of 41-33.

The Lions (8-7) will now prepare for their challenge against St. Thomas More Academy (Raleigh, NC). The Chancellors come into the NCISAA Raleigh Area challenge with a 8-11 record. In their last challenge, St. Thomas More Academy dropped by Trinity of Durham and Chapel Hill (Durham, NC), 30-23, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Falcons battle the Thales Academy Rolesville Knights (Rolesville, NC) in a NCISAA Raleigh Area challenge, on Friday, January 24. Friendship Christian will attempt to improve on its 3-10 season record. The Knights come into the challenge with a 11-8 record after their 50-32 league loss to St. Thomas More Academy (Raleigh, NC).
