Next, the Lobos encounter the La Puente Warriors (La Puente, CA) in a Miramonte test, on Tuesday, January 28. Workman will attempt to improve on its 6-10 season record. The Warriors come into the test with a 3-11 record after their 29-21 league win over Pomona (Pomona, CA).

The Giants (3-6) will now prepare for their test against Bassett (La Puente, CA). The Olympians come into the Miramonte test with a 2-8 record. In their last test, Bassett was knocked off by Edgewood (West Covina, CA), 43-16, in a league test.
