In Thursday's league contest, the host John J. Duggan Academy basketball team scored a big 42-17 triumph over the Gateway Regional Gators.
The (1-3) will now prepare for their contest against St. Mary (Westfield, MA). The Saints go into the Tri-County - North contest with a 2-1 record.
In their next game, the Gators battle the Pathfinder RVT Pioneers (Palmer, MA) in a Tri-County - North contest, on Monday, January 27. Gateway Regional will attempt to better on its 0-2 season record. The Pioneers go into the contest with a 3-1 record after their 0-0 non-league Smith Academy (Hatfield, MA).
