In Thursday's league contest, the host Northland Lutheran Wildcats basketball team scored a close 45-42 triumph over the Gresham Community Wildcats.
The Wildcats (6-6) will now prepare for their contest against Newman (Wausau, WI). The Fighting Cardinals go into the non-league contest with a 2-11 record.
In their next game, the Wildcats confront the Menominee Indian Eagles (Keshena, WI) in a non-league contest, on Monday, January 27. Gresham Community will attempt to better on its 6-6 season record. The Eagles go into the contest with a 3-8 record after their 63-45 league loss to Wittenberg-Birnamwood (Wittenberg, WI).
