Minnesota High School Basketball - Perham nudges Hawley

January 23, 2025: Perham, MN 56573

The crowd at Thursday's league challenge between the Perham Yellowjackets (Perham, MN) and the visiting Hawley Nuggets (Hawley, MN), observed Perham's basketball team edge Hawley by a score of 56-54.

The Yellowjackets (8-7) will now prepare for their challenge against Pelican Rapids (Pelican Rapids, MN). The Vikings come into the AA Section 8 challenge with a 13-3 record. In their last challenge, Pelican Rapids edged Breckenridge (Breckenridge, MN), 78-66, in a non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Nuggets encounter the Dilworth-Glyndon-Felton Rebels (Glyndon, MN) in a AA Section 8 challenge, on Tuesday, January 28. Hawley will attempt to improve on its 8-9 season record. The Rebels come into the challenge with a 12-4 record after their 68-47 non-league win over Mahnomen/Waubun (Mahnomen, MN).
