Hickory Hornets (Hermitage, PA) supporters left the game satisfied Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad nudge the host Sharon Tigers (Sharon, PA), 48-45 in a league match.

With the victory, Hickory advances its record to 7-10 on the year. The Hornets travel to Grove City (Grove City, PA) to face the Eagles in a District 10 Region 4 match on Thursday, January 30. The Eagles enter the match with a record of 9-6. Grove City lost 50-44 in their recent league match against Slippery Rock (Slippery Rock, PA)

The Tigers now own a 3-10 record. They put it on the line next when they host Slippery Rock for a District 10 Region 4 match on Monday, February 3.
