Virginia High School Basketball - Nottoway holds off King William

The Nottoway Cougars basketball team scored 37 points and limited the host King William Cavaliers to 32 in the Cougars non-league triumph on Thursday.
The Cougars now possess a 5-9 record. They play next when they travel to Lunenburg Central for a James River game on Friday, January 24. Nottoway will confront a Chargers team coming off a 33-26 league loss to Randolph-Henry (Charlotte Court House, VA). The Chargers record now stands at 2-6.
With the loss, King William falls to 1-11 on the campaign. The Cavaliers travel to King & Queen Central (King & Queen Court House, VA) to confront the Royal Tigers in a Tidewater game on Tuesday, January 28. The Royal Tigers go into the game with a record of 5-8.
