Pennsylvania High School Basketball - Neshannock routs Laurel

In Thursday's league contest, the visiting Neshannock Lancers basketball team scored a big 65-19 triumph over the Laurel Spartans.
The Lancers (15-2) will now prepare for their contest against Aliquippa (Aliquippa, PA). The Quips go into the non-league battle with a 9-2 record. In their last battle, Aliquippa walloped Shenango (New Castle, PA), 43-12, in a league battle.
The Spartans now own a 4-9 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Rochester for a WPIAL 2A 1 battle on Monday, January 27. Laurel will meet a Rams squad coming off a 53-36 league win over Freedom Area (Freedom, PA). The Rams record now stands at 6-5.
