Alabama High School Basketball - Lincoln routed by Talladega

Talladega Tigers (Talladega, AL) supporters left the game satisfied Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad triumph over the host Lincoln Golden Bears (Lincoln, AL), 60-33 in a non-league match.

With the victory, Talladega advances its record to 13-10 on the year. The Tigers travel to Winterboro (Alpine, AL) to face the Bulldogs in a non-league match on Friday, January 24. The Bulldogs enter the match with a record of 19-1. Winterboro won 85-5 in their recent non-league match against Fayetteville (Sylacauga, AL)

The Golden Bears now own a 13-11 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to St. Clair County for a 5A Area 11 match on Monday, January 27. Lincoln will face a Fighting Saints squad coming off a 64-17 non-league loss to Moody (Moody, AL). The Fighting Saints record now stands at 2-18.
