The Sherman Tide (Seth, WV) basketball toppled the host Meadow Bridge Wildcats (Meadow Bridge, WV), 45-36 in Thursday's league bout.

The Tide now possess a 5-7 record. They play next when they travel to Wirt County for a non-league bout on Saturday, January 25. Sherman will play a Tigers team coming off a 34-33 non-league win over Calhoun (Mt. Zion, WV). The Tigers record now stands at 3-7.

With the loss, Meadow Bridge falls to 3-5 on the campaign. The Wildcats travel to Paden City (Paden City, WV) to play the Wildcats in a non-league bout on Saturday, January 25. The Wildcats go into the bout with a record of 2-5.
