The Wahkiakum Mules basketball team scored 58 points and limited the visiting Oakville Acorns to 42 in the Mules league triumph on Thursday.

The Mules now possess a 8-6 record. They play next when they travel to Washington School for the Deaf for a 1B Columbia Valley game on Tuesday, January 28. Wahkiakum will confront a Terriers team coming off a 55-6 league loss to Pe Ell (Pe Ell, WA). The Terriers record now stands at 3-10.

With the loss, Oakville falls to 10-6 on the campaign. The Acorns host Columbia Adventist Academy (Battle Ground, WA) to confront the Kodiaks in a 1B Columbia Valley game on Tuesday, January 28. The Kodiaks go into the game with a record of 4-11. Columbia Adventist Academy won 54-26 in their recent non-league game against Mesa Grande Academy (Calimesa, CA)
