Maine High School Basketball - Orono bests Piscataquis

The Orono Riots (Orono, ME) basketball toppled the visiting Piscataquis Pirates (Guilford, ME), 46-28 in Thursday's league bout.
The Riots now possess a 3-11 record. They play next when they host George Stevens Academy for a C North bout on Saturday, January 25. Orono will play a Eagles team coming off a 45-40 league win over Narraguagus (Harrington, ME). The Eagles record now stands at 7-5.
With the loss, Piscataquis falls to 4-10 on the campaign. The Pirates host Bucksport (Bucksport, ME) to play the Golden Bucks in a C North bout on Saturday, January 25. The Golden Bucks go into the bout with a record of 8-4. Bucksport won 58-34 in their recent league bout against Penquis Valley (Milo, ME)
