The Walnut Wildcats (Walnut, MS) basketball crushed the visiting Ripley Tigers (Ripley, MS), 66-43 in Thursday's non-league bout.
The Wildcats now possess a 21-2 record. They play next when they host Hatley for a 2A Region 1 bout on Friday, January 24. Walnut will play a Tigers team coming off a 63-37 league win over Hamilton (Hamilton, MS). The Tigers record now stands at 12-7.
