In Thursday's non-league contest, the visiting Smoky Valley Vikings basketball team scored a big 55-27 triumph over the Trinity Celtics.
The Vikings (3-7) will now prepare for their contest against Sterling (Sterling, KS). The Black Bears go into the non-league contest with a 0-10 record. In their last contest, Sterling was trounced by Southeast of Saline (Gypsum, KS), 53-17, in a non-league contest.
In their next game, the Celtics confront the Lyons Lions (Lyons, KS) in a non-league contest, on Friday, January 24. Trinity will attempt to better on its 1-9 season record. The Lions go into the contest with a 1-9 record after their 50-19 non-league loss to Kingman (Kingman, KS).
