In Thursday's league test, the Southwestern Trojans (Jamestown, NY) basketball squad defeated the visiting Fredonia Hillbillies (Fredonia, NY), by a score of 50-37.
Next, the Trojans clash with the Sacred Heart Academy Sharks (Buffalo, NY) in a non-league test, on Saturday, January 25. Southwestern will attempt to improve on its 12-0 season record.
The Hillbillies (0-1) will now prepare for their test against Chautauqua Lake (Mayville, NY). The Eagles come into the non-league test with a 0-0 record.
