Fans at Thursday's league battle between the Del Oro Golden Eagles (Loomis, CA) and the host Rocklin Thunder (Rocklin, CA), saw Del Oro's soccer squad hold off Rocklin by a count of 2-1.
The Golden Eagles (8-1) will now prepare for their battle against Oak Ridge (El Dorado Hills, CA). The Trojans enter the Sierra Foothill League battle with a 6-3 record. In their last battle, Oak Ridge tipped Whitney (Rocklin, CA), 2-0, in a league battle.
Next up, the Thunder confront the Folsom Bulldogs (Folsom, CA) in a Sierra Foothill League battle, on Tuesday, January 28. Rocklin will attempt to upgrade on its 8-1 season record. The Bulldogs enter the battle with a 5-3 record after their 0-0 league St. Francis (Sacramento, CA).
