The Riverside Prep Silver Knights triumphed over the visiting Excelsior Charter Eagles soccer squad by a margin of 8-4 in Thursday's league bout.

The Silver Knights now hold a 8-12 record. They play next when they host Cobalt Institute of Math & Science Academy for a Cross Valley bout on Tuesday, January 28. Riverside Prep will face a team coming off a 3-0 league loss to University Prep (Victorville, CA). The record now stands at 8-6.

The Eagles (7-6) will now prepare for their contest against Academy for Academic Excellence (Apple Valley, CA). The Knights enter the Cross Valley contest with a 7-6 record.
