In Thursday's non-league contest, the host Atlee Raiders basketball team scored a big 55-26 triumph over the Mechanicsville Mustangs.
The Raiders (9-0) will now prepare for their contest against Prince George (Prince George, VA). The Royals go into the non-league contest with a 0-13 record. In their last contest, Prince George was trounced by Hopewell (Hopewell, VA), 70-25, in a non-league contest.
In their next game, the Mustangs battle the Henrico Warriors (Richmond, VA) in a non-league contest, on Monday, January 27. Mechanicsville will attempt to better on its 2-8 season record. The Warriors go into the contest with a 9-3 record after their 44-43 non-league win over Armstrong (Richmond, VA).
