The Simeon Wolverines basketball team scored 56 points and limited the host Hyde Park Thunderbirds to 53 in the Wolverines league triumph on Thursday.

The Wolverines now have a 11-2 record. They play next when they travel to Lane Tech for a game on Tuesday, January 28. Simeon will confront a Champions team coming off a 45-36 league win over Lindblom (Chicago, IL). The Champions record now stands at 4-3.

With the loss, Hyde Park falls to 5-4 on the campaign. The Thunderbirds host Curie (Chicago, IL) to confront the Condors in a game on Tuesday, January 28. The Condors go into the game with a record of 14-5. Curie lost 51-48 in their recent league game against Kenwood (Chicago, IL)
