In Thursday's league contest, the host Liberty Patriots basketball team scored a big 62-36 triumph over the Stockdale Mustangs.
The Patriots (15-5) will now prepare for their contest against Independence (Bakersfield, CA). The Falcons go into the non-league contest with a 14-4 record. In their last contest, Independence was trounced by Bakersfield (Bakersfield, CA), 54-48, in a league contest.
In their next game, the Mustangs battle the Garces Memorial Rams (Bakersfield, CA) in a contest, on Thursday, January 30. Stockdale will attempt to better on its 2-5 season record.
