The Whitley County Colonels basketball squad (Williamsburg, KY), was nudged 1-0 in Thursday's non-league battle with the host South Laurel Cardinals (London, KY)
With the victory, South Laurel advances its record to 3-0 on the year. The Cardinals host Bell County (Pineville, KY) to meet the Bobcats in a non-league battle on Monday, January 27. The Bobcats enter the battle with a record of 1-2.
The Colonels now own a 4-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Pineville for a non-league battle on Friday, February 7.
