Virginia High School Basketball - West Springfield victorious over West Potomac

In Thursday's league contest, the host West Springfield Spartans basketball squad scored a nice 52-40 victory over the West Potomac Wolverines.
With the victory, West Springfield upgrades its record to 5-3 on the year. The Spartans travel to Lake Braddock (Burke, VA) to face the Bruins in a non-league match on Monday, January 27. The Bruins enter the match with a record of 2-4.
The Wolverines now sport a 4-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to South County for a match on Tuesday, January 28.
