Maryland High School Basketball - Crossland nudges Central

January 24, 2022: Temple Hills, MD 20748

Crossland Cavaliers (Temple Hills, MD) backers were in high spirits Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Central Falcons (Capitol Heights, MD), 68-63 in a league bout.

With the win, Crossland upgrades its record to 2-3 on the season. The Cavaliers travel to Oxon Hill (Oxon Hill, MD) to clash with the Clippers in a Prince George's County 3A/2A/1A bout on Tuesday, February 1. The Clippers go into the bout with a record of 3-2.

Next up, the Falcons clash with the Potomac Wolverines (Oxon Hill, MD) in a Prince George's County 3A/2A/1A bout, on Tuesday, January 25. Central will attempt to upgrade on its 0-5 season record. The Wolverines go into the bout with a 0-2 record after their 55-37 league loss to Oxon Hill (Oxon Hill, MD).
