St. Francis Wyverns (Louisville, KY) backers were in high spirits Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Hoops For Christ Bulls (Prospect, KY), 1-0 in a non-league bout.

With the win, St. Francis upgrades its record to 5-8 on the season. The Wyverns travel to Central (Louisville, KY) to play the Yellowjackets in a District 25 bout on Thursday, January 27. The Yellowjackets go into the bout with a record of 5-10. Central lost 56-44 in their recent non-league bout against Moore (Louisville, KY)

Next up, the Bulls play the Evansville HomeSchool Racers Racers (Evansville, IN) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, January 29. Hoops For Christ will attempt to upgrade on its 8-9 season record.
