The Douglas County West Falcon basketball team (Valley, NE), was nudged 49-42 in Monday's non-league battle with the visiting Ashland-Greenwood Bluejays (Ashland, NE)

The Bluejays now possess a 6-9 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Syracuse for a non-league battle on Thursday, January 27. Ashland-Greenwood will confront a Rockets team coming off a 57-14 non-league win over Arlington (Arlington, NE). The Rockets record now stands at 12-3.

The Falcon (9-9) will now prepare for their contest against Syracuse (Syracuse, NE). The Rockets enter the non-league contest with a 12-3 record.
