In Monday's league outing, the Plainfield Panthers (Central Village, CT) basketball squad felled the host Griswold Wolverines (Griswold, CT), by a margin of 38-19.
The Panthers (6-5) will now prepare for their outing against St. Bernard (Uncasville, CT). The Saints go into the non-league outing with a 6-5 record. In their last outing, St. Bernard thwarted Wheeler (North Stonington, CT), 37-27, in a league outing.
The Wolverines now own a 5-6 record. They play next when they host Putnam for a non-league outing on Tuesday, January 25. Griswold will clash with a Clippers squad coming off a 35-31 league loss to Tourtellotte (North Grosvenordale, CT). The Clippers record now stands at 1-11.
