Florida High School Basketball - East River can't hold off Winter Springs

The Winter Springs Bears basketball team scored 46 points and held the host East River Falcons to 43 in the Bears league triumph on Monday.
The Bears now sport a 4-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Oviedo for a non-league contest on Monday, January 31. Winter Springs will battle a Lions team coming off a 59-53 non-league loss to Lake Howell (Winter Park, FL). The Lions record now stands at 6-8.
The Falcons (8-3) will now prepare for their contest against Lake Mary Prep (Lake Mary, FL). The Griffins enter the contest with a 0-1 record.
