Fans at Tuesday's league challenge between the North Polk Comets (Alleman, IA) and the host A-D-M Tigers (Adel, IA), saw North Polk's basketball squad hold off A-D-M by a tally of 68-65.

With the victory, North Polk improves its record to 12-2 on the campaign. The Comets travel to Clarke (Osceola, IA) to play the Indians in a non-league challenge on Thursday, January 26. The Indians come into the challenge with a record of 9-5. Clarke won 72-57 in their recent league challenge against Davis County (Bloomfield, IA)

Next up, the Tigers play the Winterset Huskies (Winterset, IA) in a Raccoon River challenge, on Tuesday, February 7. A-D-M will attempt to improve on its 6-7 season record.
