The Missouri Valley Big Reds basketball team (Missouri Valley, IA), was overwhelmed 71-36 in Tuesday's non-league battle with the visiting AHSTW Vikings (Avoca, IA)
The Vikings now possess a 15-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Logan-Magnolia for a non-league battle on Friday, January 27. AHSTW will confront a Panthers team coming off a 54-43 league loss to Underwood (Underwood, IA). The Panthers record now stands at 3-11.
The Big Reds (7-8) will now prepare for their battle against Tri-Center (Neola, IA). The Trojans come into the Western Iowa battle with a 10-6 record. In their last battle, Tri-Center trounced Treynor (Treynor, IA), 54-48, in a league battle.
