In Tuesday's league outing, the Alden Bulldogs (Alden, NY) basketball squad beat the visiting Tonawanda Warriors (Tonawanda, NY), by a count of 56-43.

The Bulldogs (4-8) will now prepare for their outing against Holland (Holland, NY). The Dutchmen go into the Section 6 Erie County IV outing with a 11-3 record. In their last outing, Holland was topped by Eden (Eden, NY), 84-78, in a league outing.

The Warriors now hold a 1-7 record. They play next when they travel to Grand Island for a non-league outing on Friday, January 27. Tonawanda will clash with a Vikings squad coming off a 62-46 league loss to Niagara-Wheatfield (Sanborn, NY). The Vikings record now stands at 5-10.
