California High School Basketball - Bentley overwhelmed by Athenian

The Athenian Owls basketball team scored 69 points and restricted the visiting Bentley Phoenix to 28 in the Owls league victory on Tuesday.

The Owls now sport a 13-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Redwood Christian for a Bay Counties - East contest on Friday, January 27. Athenian will battle a Eagles team coming off a 64-48 league loss to College Prep (Oakland, CA). The Eagles record now stands at 7-12.

The Phoenix (6-9) will now prepare for their contest against Valley Christian (Dublin, CA). The Vikings come into the Bay Counties - East contest with a 2-15 record. In their last contest, Valley Christian was routed by Head-Royce (Oakland, CA), 76-11, in a league contest.
