Eula Pirates (Clyde, TX) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Baird Bears (Baird, TX), 85-28 in a league bout.

With the win, Eula upgrades its record to 16-9 on the season. The Pirates travel to Cross Plains (Cross Plains, TX) to clash with the Buffaloes in a 1A Region II District 13 bout on Friday, January 27. The Buffaloes go into the bout with a record of 3-7.

Next up, the Bears clash with the May Tigers (May, TX) in a 1A Region II District 13 bout, on Friday, January 27. Baird will attempt to upgrade on its 1-9 season record.
